Financial statements & presentation
- Current year-to-date and recent historical P&Ls and balance sheets.
- Chart of accounts and overall financial statement presentation.
- Revenue and expense classifications and material inconsistencies.
- Material cash-versus-accrual timing issues.
Balance sheet & reconciliations
- Material balance-sheet accounts, support, stale balances and reconciliation concerns.
- Bank and credit-card reconciliation status at a high level.
- Owner/trust accounting at a high level, where applicable.
Entity separation & unusual items
- Unusual, unsupported or potentially problematic accounting items.
- Intercompany, affiliated-entity, separate-business and non-business activity that may need separation or reclassification.
Readiness for outside scrutiny
- Potential normalization items at a high level, without detailed EBITDA/add-back calculations.
- Financial areas likely to create questions for management, lenders, investors, advisors or potential buyers.

It does not include bookkeeping cleanup, historical reconstruction, CPA attest services, valuation conclusions, detailed adjusted EBITDA/add-back calculations or transaction diligence support unless separately engaged. Recommended implementation work is priced separately.
